The transition by OWCP to its new billing contractor CNSI seems to have been an unmitigated disaster for medical providers.
While there was all sorts of messaging in the lead up to the change that there would be a seamless transition, that has not been the case. I have assisted multiple medical providers who have been unable to resolve their set up and billing issues with the new system due to the myriad problems with the new billing system software that simply did not work when it went live and the stories about the lack of any competent assistance from the CNSI "help line" led one medical office to refer to them as the "no help line."
Please do not give up on these claims.
