FECA claimants receiving non-formulary legacy prescriptions will be cut off December 9, 2022

Last year OWCP adopted drug formulary rules and gave federal employee workers compensation claimants a year to transition their non-formulary medications. If you have been receiving letters and notices in ECOMP advising you that one or more of your prescriptions do not meet the formulary, you must immediately review this with your prescriber and either change your medication or your prescriber may request an exception to the formulary rules by completing a non-formulary Prior Authorization Request Form (PARF) through the prescriber portal. Be mindful that the deadline is rapidly approaching.

More information about OWCP's changes to how a federal employee and their prescriber request an exception can be found by starting at this link:

Was Stephen Maturo MD the DMA in your OWCP claim?

I have seen three DMA memos in hearing loss cases by this physician and in EVERY case he invented a reason to reduce the claimant's hearing loss or simply say that the hearing loss is not work related
