Welcome to the website of OWCP Lawyer, Jeff Zeelander. I represent injured federal employees, including USPS employees, with their federal workers' compensation claims. I have over twenty years of experience in this area; I represent federal workers throughout the United States as well as overseas.

If you have found this website, it is quite likely that you have had the misfortune of suffering a work injury and have now learned how horrible the workers' compensation process can be for federal empoyees. If you need help, feel free to call me to discuss your situation: 215-545-2132.

Do You Need a Federal Workers' Compensation Lawyer?

When the Federal Workers' Compensation program was created in 1916, you may not have needed a lawyer. However, the way it is administered today causes many workers to be denied benefits to which they are entitled.

In a federal workers' compensation claim, you are entitled to:

  • medical care,
  • replacement of lost wages, and
  • a schedule award for permanent injury to specific limbs or organs.

You may also have a personal injury case that must be pursued within the relevant statute of limitation if a third party caused your injury.

As an OWCP attorney, I regularly handle all types of federal workers' compensation claims. I know your legal rights as well as the rules that govern the Office of Workers Compensation Program (OWCP). So if you have questions or concerns about your OWCP case, please call me.

As an advocate for injured federal workers, I take issue with many of the processes and procedures that govern the OWCP. I report these in my OWCP Lawyer's Blog. Subscribe to it to keep up-to-date with the latest news and developments affecting federal workers' compensation.
