Do You Need a Federal Workers' Compensation Lawyer?

When the Federal Workers' Compensation program was created in 1916, you may not have needed a lawyer. However, the way it is administered today causes many workers to be denied benefits to which they are entitled.

In a federal workers' compensation claim, you are entitled to:

• medical care,
• replacement of lost wages, and
• a schedule award for permanent injury to specific limbs or organs.

You may also have a personal injury case that must be pursued within the relevant statute of limitation if a third party caused your injury.
